Miami-Dade County
NOA# 20-124.02
Miami-Dade County has some of the most stringent building codes in the country — originally developed in response to Hurricane Andrew. The Summit is the only retractable awning to carry this certification, meaning it has been independently tested and approved to withstand extreme wind conditions. For Pacific Northwest homeowners dealing with seasonal storms, this certification is your assurance that the Summit is built to last.
Commercial grade. Residential comfort.
One-touch motorized control
Somfy motor — the world leader in home automation. Operate with remote, wall switch, or smartphone. Wind and sun sensors available. Manual override included should you lose power.
Industry-leading warranty
Lifetime frame · 10yr fabric & seams · 8yr motor & electronics. Emerald Protection included standard. Diamond Protection (full lifetime coverage) available optionally.
Sunbrella® fabric, 150+ colors
100% solution-dyed acrylic fabric. Computer cut, ultrasonically sealed edges, sewn with Tenera thread — 10-year warranty on fabric and seams. Won't rot, mildew, or fade.
Heavy-duty torsion bar
50mm × 50mm galvanized steel torsion bar — powder coated to match the frame. For coastline applications, an optional 8mm thick-walled aluminum torsion bar is available.
Optional drop shade
Add a mesh sun screen drop shade that extends down from the front bar across the full width — increasing privacy and solar protection. Self-storing, motorized or manual. Available up to 22' wide.
Optional LED lighting
Extend your evenings with Lunar Lighting (front bar) or LED arm strips — 16 brightness levels in warm or cool white. Controlled with the same remote as your awning. Warm lights attract fewer insects.
Rainier exclusive
The Summit uses Rainier's exclusive ART system — 11 individually wound steel cables encased in a polycarbonate UV-resistant PVC coating. Each belt is individually tested to 3,300 lbs of resistance at 60,000 cycles. Your fabric stays perfectly taut year after year, with zero stretch over time.
That's opening and closing twice a day for over 80 years.

Three ways to install
01
Wall mounted
The most common installation. The bracket attaches directly to an exterior wall. A header board is strongly recommended when attaching into wall studs due to the 50mm bracket bolt spacing. Available with or without protective hood.
02
Roof mounted
When wall space is limited or when additional clearance is required, our 12" tall roof mount brackets bring the Summit up over the roofline. We strongly recommend pairing with the protective hood for this installation type. Requires a header board.
